cut out sugar cookie recipes?

My husband wants sugar cookies... sigh... they're not my favorite cuz they're such a pain with the rolling out and all, I don't enjoy that. So I'll start with my bars and go from there. Today is baking day, it's almost 11am, guess I should get started, eh?

I'm going to make those blasted cookies, spritz cookies if I have time, and Peppermint Cheesecake bars, Linzer torte bars with blueberry jam, Pecan pie squares, and then we'll go from there.

BTW...Jeremy1973 and Cyberchef have 2 great sugar cookies in the recipe thread. Lots of work, but so worth it. Maybe another day...

I am doing as little cooking as possible since I am doing Xmas dinner for the whole family this year. I love cooking but the amount I will have to do always wears me out. I need to get my list together and go do my shopping. Hubby likes my pound cake so I will probably bake that and my pies on Saturday.

it's going good! The peppermint cheesecake bars are cooling, the linzer bars are cooling, the pecan pie bars are getting there (crust is baking and topping is ready). Gotta clean up all my dishes and start over for cookies. I'll do spritz cuz they're super easy and it looks like you make a lot cuz they're so small. I'm also putting together a super easy awesome quiche cuz I haven't eaten yet and that will really hit the spot!
