Anybody have one of the 30 GB models? What do you think of it? Battery life even close to what the specs say? Amazon and Circuit City are selling the black one for $199.

I have the black one and I love it. It's pretty much plug and play. The battery life is huge and the screen is beautiful. It is a little on the thick side, but that's not an issue for me. I would highly recommend this player.

Doug, it's a very compact MP3 player. It holds hundreds of songs on a tiny hard drive, and has a small interface on the front to index, sort, and play back your choices. Nice thing about the Zen over the Ipod, is that it has an FM tuner built in.

Yeah, I realized I don't need my entire music collection with me at all times so I settled on a Sansa e260 and got the 2GB expansion memory card. For some reason a 4GB player with a 2GB memory card is cheaper than buying a 6GB player by itself...lol.
I just got it last night and already have almost 2 gig of music on it.

we have both the creative zen jukebox (60GB model) and Kayla has the 30Gb Ipod.
Personally, I LOVE my creative jukebox. The only con over the ipod, is initially transferring music to the creative can be a little trickier than the ipod. But other than that...I like creative's product better.
It's a little thicker, but I never can understand people fascination with smaller and smaller electronics anyways. Why people want smaller and smaller cellphones and stuff is beyond me. Smaller = easier to break/harder to use, IMO.

Skeety...try downloading Media Monkey. It's a free media player, unless you want to buy the gold edition. I won't user Windows Media Player anymore because I got spoiled by iTunes. Media Monkey is the closest thing to iTunes I've found so far and it works perfectly with my mp3 player.
