my cousin lives on counter strike

i introduced him to it, back when half life first came out, then the CS mod hit the street, and he went nuts.

he has a server up here in ohio, and has played in some national tournaments and what not.

he plays CS more than i look at my tank !! he's a freak

I've played since the early Betas.
Strictly LAN shop, though --that way you know there's a level playing field, 'puter hardware-wise.

It's just a game, but pretty insane though --can anyone imagine ACTUALLY shooting an AI Arctic Warfare Magnum while running?

Nowadays I play just for those truly golden moments:

or the crazier headshot with a grenade.

How can I play it is there a demo ? or do you have to buy it?

casey dont do it. it will take control of your life. before you know it, you'll be shooting people in your sleep, well, if you actually get any! your life will crumble around you, but you wont care, as long as you still have electricity and an active connection to the web!!

btw: counter stike isnt a game, in and of itself, its a mod for half-life. but a bigtime mod. new graphics, new gameplay, just uses the half life engine.

so i dont think there is a demo for it. counter strike itself is a free download add on to half life. which, you have ot buy first. but half life may have a demo. but its NOTHING like counter strike.

my cousin is in |RAH| and used to be in |ho||in|

i just finally got into |RAH| as a recruit the other night, by default since my cousin is an admin and recon.

but i still havent played it much. i'm old, so i played old school, (ORIGINAL wolfenstein, doom, quake, etc..) We play EVERYNIGHT, you should come play with us some night.

i'm working on a new spray for when i own someone, probably have something reef-ish to it

Jay I bought half life but it wont run on win xp says it needs an update i cant find

hmm thats odd casey. i have halflife with the counter strike mod, and the steam update. and i run winxp with no problems.


have you checked the half life or counter strike websites?

there are a few different updates you'll need to install to have a current version of counter strike, and be able to play online with other players. most of the servers out there have most if not all of the current updates, to prevent hackers etc..
