Computer trouble!

okay, so Im playing world warcraft and all of a sudden my speakers start to get static and everything is freezing and unfreezing, like stopping and then going. When I exit out of the game, my computer is still doing that. What is wrong with this thing? I can play games for about 4 minutes until this starts happening.

Anyone know what the problem is?? Maybe graphics card?

Can you use your computer for longer than 4 minutes if you aren't playing a game?

Video and Sound card. Are they integrated?

Is this a new game? You may need more memory.

Static usually comes from a loose connection in the cables.

Try removing and reinstalling the sound driver.

but would the sound driver be the cause of the image??

IF your image is freezing up sounds like you do not have enought memory to run it

This does not sound like a problem with your graphics card. If I recall you bought a decent computer with at least 512mb of ram and a video card. I would install another sound card (maybe 20 bucks) and give it a go.

Also, on WoW I gave up Plugger to be a Paladin named Toadstool on your server. Say hi if you get on the game.

Depending on the type of speakers you have, sometimes different frequencies are projected through your speakers. Like when I place my cell phone near my speakers they make beeping noises. Your monitor or some other device might be causing interference. Just something to check on.
