Computer Help

Hi Gang! I rebooted my computer to factory condition which was with AOL 5.0. I upgraded to AOL 7.0 and seem to have lost my video driver!
I can put my screen area at the proper pixels to keep windows at the right size but when I shut down and sign on again I have large windows again!
Anyone have trouble with this on a Compaq Presiaro, Series 5000? Any help would be appreciated! Johnny

Hi SandReef! Thanks so much for offering!
This is what I did so you know! I went to START, then CONTROL PANEL, and then clicked on DISPLAY. I then clicked on SETTINGS and then COLORS(high color 16bit) and then to SCREEN AREA and moved slider to read 800x600 pixels and hit APPLY and then OK and shut down my computer and it comes back the normal size but when I shut down again it comes back large windows again!
I went on the computer this morning and the windows were normal size so who knows! Anyways I sent you my E-MAIL address if you have a better step by step approach to this! Thanks, Johnny

Hi SR! I believe I have fixed the problem! I deleted and removed the video driver that I downloaded from the Compaq site and then shut down my computer and when it started up again, my system detected new hardware to add to my computer and so I upgraded and it listed the video driver that goes with my computer.
I know when you delete something from your computer, the system will detect the change and upgrade your computer! Anyways I now get small windows everytime and hopefully the problem is resolved. Thanks again for offering! Johnny
