Ditto on the Fry's stuff,,,
Running a 500mhz box right now still,(it used to be cutting edge,,at one time,,,LOL) will prob stay the way it is for now, till i can't run programs etc, due to incompatablity of the new stuff.
i did a load of upgrades on this machine, and will prob keep it til it dies or can't use current programs it,,,,

I am still using the 400 mghz P2, its a good machine for what I do but dawggone it, I want a new one. When TRT evolved from Brookes website based board, I was moderating with a 486 machine, then I took the huge leap to a Pentium 120 mgh, then this 400 Pentium 2

I still think my puter is plenty fast but the need for a second one has me looking. I still don't understand the lingo but I take the salesman's word when he tells me what features are worth the money and which ones aren't. Having a TV tuner in the puter is going to be sweet.

I am pretty lucky that a major online retailer has a retail store in Marietta. That place has everything. (Yes Cath they even have Macs but they're hidden in the back.)

I am not going to tell you about Mrs. Phish's computer....it is about as fast as Tom's M3, and way better in the curve department.

I have no idea why a video card should cost 300 bucks...but I just pay pay pay.

oh you can also get ( buy ) a modem spliter . who eer you have for internet may alreay have one that you can rent or buy..
