Let us get thru Thanksgiving! I don't want to think of X-mas or the fact I'll owe a kidney when it's over.

I have to start organizing now, get all my timers & extension cords together. I have TONS more of Christmas decorations then I do Halloween
I start setting up usually Thanksgiving weekend
It all depends upon if there is a warm day

I only turn then on as of Dec 1st - not a night before
This year is a "good" year as there is a full week between Thnksgiving & Dec 1st. Then Dec 2nd & 3rd are a weekend

So with luck I won't have frostbite setting up this year

Crimeny get your orange and black bins stuffed and put away before you even peek into the red and green ones.

I'm too busy buying more Halloween stuff to pack it up!!
I need to seperate out what will be used for both Holidays
I also like ot secure the window candles in place so I don't have to open the windows in December to install them. Most are already installed as I use dflicker bulbs for Halloween
So I only have 4 to put in

I'm packing stuff up this weekend
3 weeks "off" then I start decorating again

Dec 1st the window candles go on
Then everything else after that as weather allows

Well I guess I need to start decorating earlier this year!!
I just picked up over 3 dozen lawn decorations for $75 off of Craigslist
The back of my pick up truck was FULL!!
So I have to start looking thru them & making sure they all work
They said some of these are 25 years old!!
Toy soldiers, candy canes, nativity set, Mr & Mrs snowman, window wreaths, a choir - 6-7 I think, Mr & Mrs Bear, only Mrs Santa

They had a bunch of stuff taken 2 years ago & stopped putting stuff out
Plsu their kids are now all over 18
I told them they would have a good home & plenty of company

All blow molded plastic decorations: 44 pieces all together

2 window wreaths with candles in the middle
Gingerbread house
Gingerbread man
Twin bells
Santa Face
Mrs Claus
5 smaller carolers - 3 boys, 2 girls, 1 extra head
1 large caroler
Mr & Mrs Snowman
Large bear & smaller bear
2 Mouse face soldiers & 2 32" Reg soldiers
1 Nutcracker
2 large candles
2 small candles & a small snowman
2 elves & 1 gnome
6 large thick candy canes
2 thin walkway candy canes

Nativity:
Baby & crib
3 wise men
Shephard
Camel

Now I need to go buy:
Mr Santa
Mary & Joseph
Donkey, cow, lamb, angel

I'll probably spend 2x as much completing the set now

I'm over 7600w of lights = just over 60a
I need to do a check as I set stuff up this year
That number is a rough estimate, I need to verify some of the stuff

I have a white lighted tree for outside purchased 3 years ago = 3.4a!!
The new LED lighted tree only uses 24w
I'm going more & more to LED's
