Channel Islands to reality - vacation is over
Yesterday marked Danyen and I's one year anniversary. We celebrated by backpacking Santa Rosa Island, in the Channel Islands. Here are the fearless hikers...after covering 30 miles of ground:
The sceanery was beautiful:
Here's the view fro our campsite, what you can't see we;; in this pic is the ocean view:
The island as a few marine reserves. We didn't have time to check those out, but we did run across this little guy in some tide pools:
When you're in 40-50 mile hour winds and you come across a wind break, what's teh only logical thing to do??? make coffee of course:
One the boat ride there and back, we saw LOTS of dolpins:
Now back to reality

We're thinking of doing the John Muir trail next year.
We both love photography.....gives us something to do on the trail.
