It's already 2004 here, 6:42am, and the thick smell of gunpowder in the air. Lots of fireworks last night to early morning ---still a few going off as I type. A dry, shady 80 degrees F here.

Troy and I just returned from a 3.5 mi walk....became too hot for a coat even after dark!! (It's in the 40's now)
