When you go to the dealer, don't go by yourself, bring you dad or uncle or any other man, I don't know how salepeople are in Canada but I do know how some are here in the states.
Yeah my mom and step dad are goin to come with me....All I know is they see a young gurl go in trying to buy something the are goin to over load me with bull that i dont need and try to get as much money outta me as possible!!

Thanks again this has been BIG time help

On another note when getting this I have just put all new stereo system in my caviller ( Insurance claim from when my car was stole ) Should I even bother taking out the speakers and deck of it like would it make difference in trade in to keep my speakers in there.... They are JL (which I was told was good hahaha) I am diffently takin my sub and amp tho...

Ouch! The Durango I'd have to say has been quite problematic. I've heard too many horror stories from many people, including my Bro-in-law about these. I think his new Durango was in the shop for 2 months when he first bought it for various reasons.

The stereo may help with the value, but whether or not you're going to be able to put it in your new car is another story. Most manufactures no longer have the standard stereo slots in the dashes. Bummer, I wish they did, not many stock stereos are that great. Sounds like you got a 'bumpin' system in it.

I actually don't like hondas because of the way they are built... it is a nightmare to work on them which means that it also costs more when you go to the shop. Toyota has been using the same engine block for years and it is put together well. when i upgraded to an 03 tacoma from a 85 carolla i opened the hood and found that it was still something i could easily work on when the warranty ran out.

Hundai, kia and their group i still won't touch... i have heard from multiple friends who sold them that they sometimes break down right off the lot. there is a reason they offer that enormous warranty... you will need it.

go with a nice toyota IMO

You're right about that. My 94 accord was horrible to put a timing belt on and the front brakes require the whole spindles to be removed to replace the rotors. Not Fun! This car does still runs like a champ at 240K miles though.

The actual deck I am not worried about I can always get a new one of those fairly cheap and the one that I do have isnt that great since it was an insurance claim so had to get one in the price range that they gave me... its mainly the speakers and sub and amp that I am worried about....

Well, I think you do want to leave a working stereo in the car. If you take out the speakers are you going to put the stock ones back in? I dunno if the speakers are worth the work to take out and if they are going to leave big gaping holes somewhere. I'd leave them in. The amp may be easier to take out but it will have to be rewired so the speakers still work directly from the deck.

Yeah I still have the stock speakers... the guy gave them back to me just because they work perfectly fine... I was just goin to take advantage of the free money from the insurance claim hahaha... but then again to go thro the hassle might as well just buy new ones when i buy a new deck...

Just my ...

Most new cars have great stereo's in them...granted, you won't have monster sub, but they don't need them. My Passat has an awesome stereo...

I say, when you are buying new, pay a little more and have them upgrade the stock stereo...it is always going to look right and will sound good as well. Lots of new cars have Alpine or JBL or Bose so you don't have to go aftermarket...

I doubt you are going to get much out of the other stereo...but if you have the stock stuff and want to put it back in, go for it...then sell the other stuff, but your care will sell faster if you leave the new stereo in it.

My only complaint with the smaller SUV's (Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorrento, Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4, etc...) is that they are underpowered. If they came out with a 250 HP engine I would be in.
This is true...don't get the CR-V if you need to tow anything, But it has plenty of power to get itself around

STOP!!

don't trade in. they always rip you off on the trade in value. instead just put it on craigslist and sell it yourself. you will get further in negotiations with the price and terms with a bigger down payment than with a trade in. trust me, it is much better.

Hey another person form PG....Cool! Did all the snow this morning give your car problems?

I got a wicked little VW GTI for sale........but it is not an SUV.

If it has to be an SUV definetly go Import. I am a die hard Chevy fan but ONLY for trucks. Every other Domestic vehicle is.....well not good in my opinion. Thars why I got a VW!

You don't alwayes get rooked on trades...just work your deal get the bottom line and then ask what the trade is worth.....acv(actual cash value) Thats how I do it...we tell the customer what the trade is worth real money like it or not!!!
