Book returned to Tom!
OK OK...I finally returned Tom's rebound Invert book to him last night. I must say that the outfit that did the work did a first rate job. Book looks like new...original cover, even.
Oh, and I even gave him a copy of the microfiche article. Not too bad a copy until you get to the very important references, then ...bleh....the print quality is horrible. Typical of microfiche to be inconsistant in quality.
We went to a local microbrewery (like right around the corner from my house) to celebrate

Did I donate my invert book by accident to the library in those three big boxes? I cannot find it anywhere now.

I don't think so, but I'll see if I can find out...
Other than that, Perry...check under your car seat. That's what we always tell folks.

It is the Invertebrate Zoology Rupppert/Barnes 6th ed, and it was pretty worn, with entire sections coming out from the binder, but now it looks like it is brand new! They even fixed the corner where my BAD DOG chewed a corner just a little bit (heh!)
Terry's Taproom has about 35 local and regional microbrews on tap, plus another 50 or so bottled beers, including one of my favorites, the Highland Oatmeal Porter Stout, I figured that ath should drink at least one to supply her Oatmeat requirement for the day... , we left before the Karaoke started up though...
Thanks Cath!!
The book REALLY does look awesome...
...now about those tank pix...

I would ask for a very heavily weighted stein...not a tippy glass if you take her there. No idea how hops mix with oatmeat.

I've sat in a MB before, my Dad seems to like his, but there's just something about a blue and white propeller emblem...
btw, I actually have several shirts of other colors, I just prefer the white cotton with just a touch of starch with a good press in the summer, always smells good and there's something about a rolled cuff and popping the starch in the chest pocket in the mornings!
