Battlestar Galactica Season Finale
Anyone else in here keeping up with the Battlestar Galactica series? I have fallen in love with it, and just seeing if there are any others out there who have gotten hooked on this sci-fi show.

Better than the original, unless you are a fan of cheese ball SciFi. IMO it is well written, good effects, and has a complete story arch.
Here is the show site:

It is sort of a remake. But as much as I loved the old BSG, I love the new BSG! I was very hesitant at first with having a female starbuck and boomer, but they pulled it off well, and I LOVE the characters. The twists they have put in have been very well placed.
Germy, I use to play BF:1942, Vietnam, Desert Combat all the time. Lately I have been playing Guild Wars. I have a few other friends that want me to start playing BF2. I have seen it, and it does look good. But all of the sudden, I am a lousy shot in the game. lol But yeah, I would love to team up with you some time and play a game.
MJS.. what do you think of the Pegasus? I am curious..if all their vipors are still the new vipors..then why arn't they affected by the power kill weapons of the cyclons that were used in the series opener?
Loverotties.. nope, it was a season finale. They will pick it back up in Jan. I don't think this series is going to die as quickly as the first one did. There is gathering a very large fan base for it. In fact, the guy who played the original Apollo is also in this new series, but as one of the Council delegates.

If I remember correctly from the season finale the Pegasus ran (jumped) because they were going into dry-dock for a refitting when the Cylons attacked. Also I believe that the Cylon attack affected new ships through their navigation system like a virus, planted their unknowingly by Baltar(he plays crazy very good ). So if they ran, and then figured out how the Cylons had planted the virus.... maybe they re-coded the navigation software.

Hmm..if memory served, I will have to watch the DVD, the entire ship lost power. Unless the nav consel controlled the power. Either way...
Yes..Baltar does an excellent job! Now that we know he doesn't have a chip in his head, HOW is he talking with that Cylon? Is the chip planted elsewhere? Is he a Cylon himself?
Oh man..why is January so far away!? lol I love my sci-fi fridays. I veg for 3 hours straight. Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica. *sighs*

I have to admit since Firefly was added to the line up I vegg for 4 hours on fridays. FireFly & Battlestar Galactica are the best and Stargate SG-1 & Stargate Atlantis are an ok filler between.

I have seen I think one episode of Firefly, and yes, it looked entertaining. But I feel lost since I missed the entire season so far.
