Anyone use PeoplePC as a net provider?

Any one use this, if so how do you like it compared to your previous ISP
I use a local ISP now, dialup at 45.2-46.6 so I cant complain about that, but I am paying $20 a month plus $36 for a dedicated phone line
DSL or broadband is not available here, only hi speed option is Sat thru Directv( seperate tho, no deals available)
I would like to save a little money naturally, but I was wondering if anyone used a provider on dial up that offers "accelerated dialup, is it really that much faster?

The "accelerated" high speed uses some technique to pull HTML code faster than regular. So text only pages will load faster -- pictures and other files will still load at the normal dialup speed.

I know they cache commonly hit sites on their server to speed things up, when I asked my ISP if they offered it they waved it off as "smoke and mirrors " basically

So discounting the speed issue, anyone have experience with this particular provider, it kinda burns my ass tp pay $20 when I could get DSL in town for $7 more, and no moving aint an option

I have a friend who uses PeoplePC and likes it, but she doesn't do much work on the computer, mostly uses it for email.

After reading a lot on their site , it seems most of the "bonus" features they offer work best with IE, and I use FF, so still looking
