Anyone that is Good with Gentoo here

I just took a dive right in to Sabayon Linux. And i am loving it, it has almost every thing you will ever need out of the box . I'm not a Bill basher i was just tired of viruses and all other security issues with MS software. So now i need to learn the Gentoo Linux Ways. I have all ready learned all i could from different Wiki of Sabayon and Gentoo but i am looking for a mentor that my help me with the more intense stuff like dealing with bin files and difrent things that makes linux a not so friendly os for the average user. Any helpwill be appreciated . Icould understand if know one would want to get invaled it is kind of like teaching a grown man how to walk after an injury. Not eazy but i am a computer tech. so am not completely ignorant of command line an things. just so you guys know i edited xorg.conf so now i have dual screen setup working like i wanted it.( by the way this thread was writen with Sabayon) And it's all Good.

chmod +x filename.bin
./filename.bin

i like to run linux as a server. its just too bad my stuff won't run on linux or i would convert totally. windows is nice in its own way but i like the way linux is made..
