Anyone Have Any DIY Shed Plans
I am planning on building a shed in the spring. I have been looking at plans but they all want money for them. I am not opposed to paying but I don't know what size and style I want yet so I don't want to pay for lots of different ones. I just want to start pricing out materials. Anyone know any good sites that I could get plans for free? I was also thinking of checking out barns and nobles.

Menards sells prefab frames in various widths. Just determine how deep you want the shed and buy the right number of frames. They have them in both gambrel and pitch roofs
Remember anything over 100sq ft need a permit

Not sure if they sell them there or not but the Home Depots in Florida and Alabama sell the pre-built sheds. You can go look at them and get an idea of what you want (if they have them there). Its about the easiest way to tell how big something is going to be. If you decide what size/layout you want, getting a set of plans is easy. Just let me know what you want and I can draw the plans for you. But then you have to have them stamped and approved by your local building code office.

I got the DIY brochure on the sheds at Menards. I am just going to get their pre built frames and build the rest. It is easy after that. Thanks for the help.

Cool that you have something like that handy, its almost 50 miles to nearest HD or Lowes here, we have Home Improvement places but they are spendy

Who needs plans, doubled the size of my shed
2x6 16" OC, I used 2x8's for roof rafters because I had them from dormering the house. I used T11 to match the original shed
Put in a 2x door. The jalousie windows were free

Looks Good, I need to either tear down and replace or gut and rebuild the shed in the back yard, thats a spring time project but it would be nice to move the shop tools out of the garage so one of us can park in there

That's why my garage I'm building is 24' x 36'
I can back my Ford F160 supercab in & the wife can park in front of me
I actually was backing my Jetski trailer in before I started to build
