Any PowerPoint pros in the house?

Just curious if there were any pros out there. I have a PP presentation due for a final here in a couple days and I've only done basic PPs before. Was hoping someone could give me a few ideas for something that grabs some attention?

Thanks!

Presenting a "service" to a ficticious company in a building. I am presenting a cafe like the rain forest cafe in order to bring world famous coffee and food into the building.

I'm trying to add flair to the presentation... Maybe animation or something? I've made some stuff in firworks in order to bring a custom flair so far.

Thanks for the reply

what do you have to work with? video, audio, pictures (what kind). you can import and place virtually anything into PP. is this a projector presentation or paper?

one thing to keep in mind with a business presentation is the simple law that less is more. a single well chosen picture is 10 times better then a bunch of flair. you want to come across as a business person not a party animal when proposing to a potential customer

Just emailing the PP file to the instructor. It's an online business class

I guess I can use any media that a standard windows program can open. Instead of a verbal presentatin to go along with it, the instructor will read the PP notes section to guide through the slides. SO far I've just used the slides, decked out with a water/wave theme with a few pics. Oddly enough it's a reef related cafe

10 slides maximum. So far I have 6 and only three have pics. I was just thinking on the slide where I provide the solution, I would like it to somehow have something extra.

The concept is focused on me as the presenter, using the PP as a aid, rather than a PP leading the way, with me hiding in the background.

So if I were to animate what I wanted in MM flash, I could just insert it as a gif? that makes sense.

You will have to excuse my ignorance, I've been a point and click guy for ever and I'm just starting out with some of this stuff and changing careers. Going for an AA in business and a BA in IT/Webbased design

bingo, it will not show the picture movement unless he runs it as a presentation.

That could be embarrasing! I had to present a service to a large office building. So I'm proposing a ficticious restaurant which is a cross between Starbucks and the Rain Forrest Cafe. It's called The Captive Reef Cafe. And I may copywrite the name and theme for my future business adventures
