Any Golfers Out There?

Hello all I wanted to See if there were any golfers here on TRT! I just started playing at the beginning of this month and I am hooked. I am your average beginner but I love to play. "When I make a decent shot" LOL! This has become another addiction for the wife to get upset about. LOL. Does anyone else share this addiction?

I played with the father-in-law for the first time last month. Afetr that I went to Target and bought a Wilson prestige Golf set. It did not come with a sand wedge so I went to GolfSmith and bought a TaylorMade r7 Sand Wedge. Yep In front of my wife I paid 99.99 for a single club. She loved that. LOL! The funny thing is that I only paid 189.99 for my entire Wilson set. As far as I can see this will be just as expensive as ReefTanks.

I haven't played it long enough to see all the stuff. So far you are a kid who plays in tourneys to eventually play Mario. But there is a bonus stage where you can play all the Mario characters. As far as balls. I just lost 12 at the last 18 hole course i played at. It was a really hard course. all the fairways were really narrow and there were alot of water and sand. I am gonna keep at it. LOL I love the game.

I havent played much since ive had the kid, but I usually play in most of the PNGA open events as an amatuer as well as the Oregon Am and a bunch of others. I always blow it when it matters...lol.... but I do have a couple pushes on course records to my name.

Thats the thing you have to accept about golf. You will always suck, you just suck with a lower average number than you used to suck with.

I've played for a few years now. Bridgemill in a good course in your area, but private.

Bradshaw Farms is okay and public.

Advice: Go to the PGA Superstore and get lessons from the pros for $30 a pop. Now that's a bargin. A few lessons and you'll have a lot more fun.

Go long...go deep (and hopefully staight!)
