Catherine stunk (I didn't even like her rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow), Elliot's first song gave me goose bumps, but the second two were just ok. Tayler Shined All Night!!! He's GOTTA go all the way!! |

Elliot didn't do bad, in my opinion....but he did just do O.K. all night. The guy DEFINITELY can sing...but needs to come out of his shell a little more.
Catherine...man...she's just getting some tough comments. *I* was one that thought "Somewhere OTR" was actually really good. And I HATE that song. But thought she really poured her soul into it. But other than that...mediochre perfomances all night.
And yes...I'm with everyone else...I've never seen a performer who can sing like Taylor AND make me smile the whole time. He's definitely not as good a singer as Elliot or Kat (a few weeks ago), but he's still good...and man does that guy TRULY entertain me. Loved every one of his performances.
But we still voted for all three. Basically to show our support, but still not pick anyone to go. hahaha
We think they're all good, and are actually hoping for a tie, which I think would be neat!
As for the spoiler...I'll look...but only after tonite. I like to be suprised..but all season, I've wanted to know what the actual tallies were!

Taylors rendition of Cocker's You are so Beautiful was as painful to watch and hear as it looked to him, I thought he was going to collapse with a burst appendix or something. He did a great job on Reddings Try a Little Tenderness, but I think he's a talented lounge singer
Elliot I think is pretty good, takes more chances and should do well, no matter what
Kat, what can I say, she has the whole thing down, not a bad singer, got the looks and moves and the whole presentation on OTR really grabbed me, and I do not like that song, except the really sweet version by Isreal whats his name at the end of Meet Joe Black.
And no I wasnt going to watch it but wife had the sound up so loud I couldnt hear anything else, curse you Perry

So I rushed home to watch it and of course the succubus had to steal my Tivo the day before Taylor finally sings Joe Cocker. First my down pillow is stolen then this has to happen.

Just watched last night's episode. What a GREAT episode...except for the ending. Man...ALMOST got my wish for a tie...but not close enough! hahaha
I don't like the last couple weeks. Should be able to have 4 winners! That would have been a GREAT spot to stop the show!!
