when my husband first met me..he learned real quickly that im a sucker for all animals..excluding a few.. cause they scare me....

but i love animals..the only hard thing i think about is what if i leave town for a couple days..who will care for my animals..so i do try to keep that in mind.

LOL, my hubby has learned that animals WILL be a part of his life as long as its spent with me, so he better enjoy it. he was not an animal lover at all, now he is.

Bill, too bad you didn't tell me three years ago when Rain's momma had her litter of 8!! That's Rain in the front of the basket. Five is all I could keep in the basket at one time.

I have that problem, too, Sara. I'm out of town quite a bit but I'm fortunate to have some well-trained neighbor teens.

Dick

I have the 125 Reef Tank

Son has a Teddy Bear Hamster

We have two cats
Spooky - 4 year old stray we broughtin last year (He has turned out to be the best cat I have ever had)
Zoe - 4 year old cat that we got after she had a run in with a car at 10 weeks old. She lost her front, right leg to that. We saw her just days after her amputation and she was chasing a huge dog and climbing a stair gate they put up to keep her contained. She had 18 staples to hold it all together afterwards.

Zoe climbs everything well. Spooky is afraid of Heights. I think Spooky fell out of a tree or something while he was a stray. Both are declawed now. Both seem to not care about the tank, although I think little one legged, declawed Zoe is responsible for the disappearance of more than one fish.
