Albino Buck
My dad sent me some pics of an albino buck that were taken near cable Wisconsin. I can't tell if they were actually photoshopped, but I have a seen an albino buck before (mounted, not alive)....so I know they do exist.

Intersting, Jodi!
He looks pretty real to me; the nose, lips and eyelids all have the albino coloring.

Thats AWSOME!!!!!!!
HOpe that one doesnt end up on a dinner plate or as a wall hanging.
If they shoot that one they themselves should be shot!

Where I used to live in Pa there was a x-mas tree farm about 2 hours away that had 3-4 albino deer on the property. They did not allow them to be hunted and fed them during the hunting season, as well as the rest of the year, to keep them on the property. They would usually have a new albino fawn every year or 2.
Also if you look at the base of the antlers, you can see how dirty the hair is from rubbing trees while tending scrapes.

That's really neat, Jodi. It does have the red eyes. And I agree that it shouldn't be shot.

I know they are out there because I saw one near my house last fall. Much smaller though. Another place that has a whole herd of them is the grounds that surround Fermi-lab here in the suburbs of Chicago. Fermi is a government nuclear site (atom smashing).

RWD, aren't those Fallow Deer naturally white? I saw an albino doe that met a car the bad way up near Brainerd, Mn, two years ago. From what I hear there's a few around, along with antlered does.
