Acro frags, Bonsai & Blues in Portland

Hi Everyone,

Thought I would share some pics of our trip to Portland last weekend. We had a great time! Only saw & did half the things we wanted, but that just means we have to go again.

One of the first things I did was hook up with Piero & buy some frags. He gave me a great deal! Thanks Piero!

That first pic is Piero & his faithful dog Bear.

These are the frags adjusting to their new home, not mounted yet but soon.

The one above was at a nursery that Piero told me about called Japan Bonsai. I came away with 4 great pre-bonsai plants. The guy who runs it is a japanese bonsai master.

This one should be from the Portland japanese garden

Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed the pics and the stories. My son, Troy, who got us into reefing, also used to try to grow and develop Bonsais when we lived in Louisiana...he was marginally successful. Much more so with the reef!
