A really sad day
I got home from work today and my dog (and my best friend) "Zeke" just wasn't himself. He was fine in the morning and early this afternoon but just wasn't active at around 5:00pm. Took him to the animal hospital and he passed away within 20 minutes. They say he had a tumor on his heart that wasn't letting the blood circulate. I am sooooo sad. He was truly man's best friend...

Sorry to hear that Eric, Been thru situations similar to yours,,,,It's never easy,,,one thing that might help in time is to think of the good times you two had,and how you felt,and imagine how you both felt making each other happy,,,,

The loss of a pet is second only to losing a member of your family. My beloved kitty passed due to leukemia and we got another and it helped a lot. I wish there was a way to make this easier for everyone who has lost a pet, but it just is sad. You have my condolences.
