It's hard to believe it's been 4 years since that awful day! Those scenes are still vivid in my mind and I'll never forget what those murderers did nor the heroes who did so much to save lives.
We need to remember those fallen heroes and the many who are still on the front lines, either as military or civilian police, firefighters, emergency workers, and volunteers from every walk of life. My prayers are with them.
We must also not forget that more of the same such killers are still out there planning their next terrorist acts.

I'll never forget that day!A couple of us at work went up on the roof and could see in the distance all the smoke from NY.My brother-in-law worked in the trade center. The first time when they bomb the under ground parking garage,He got in his car and was two blocks away. And on 9-11 He was out fishing the day before and didn't feel right that morning and stayed home, but no one new it and our whole family thought he was dead all day, because He didn't turn on the TV all day.I know alot of people who kids have no Father AND/OR Mother. It's just not right to loss a parent or love one that way.
The other sad thing,my wife teaches 4th gade and is closer to the towers and could see them real good. There were F-16 buzzing by the school that day and for days(hard to teach)And She really had no answer to this one kids question. And that was "how did God let this happen?"

I also have a freind that is a fireman and a SCUBA instructer. He was ask to lead the scuba team that went in the tunnles to look for boddies. They filled the tunnles with water so they could look for bubbles and or floaters. So he was the first to go thru the tunnles and couldn't tell me everything he saw,so sad!

I can never forget the surreal feeling as I watched the second jet hit the second tower. I was getting ready for work. Those kind of people will be around the world for a long time, we will get them all. Now its time to take care of those we can in our own land and never drop our gaurd for those who will hurt us.

Hard to believe its been 4 years, sadly the initial surge of pride seems to have subsided and now its back to the usual us-them partisan bickering and finger pointing
I think it would be great if we could get back together as a nation and do what needs doing, we have such a great country, lets keep it that way

Never Forget
I will never forget those images, they are forever etched in my mind.
Too many lives lost, too many heroes made, too many families still grieving.

That has been the quickest 4 years.....I remember sitting in class that morning. I was in shock when it happened. The public schools in my area went on lock down and no one could leave without a parent signing you out. I was out of school about 30 minutes after it happened my mom heard something about the Air Force Base in Tampa could be a target and i was going to school at that time near there.

turn it into a glass field. 2 nukes. Oil solved, waste storage solved. Seriously though, the anti american hatred gets to me real bad. We need to pull out all foreign aid for 10 years, give people a chance to see just how valuable and caring we are. Keep takin the u.s. for granted, wait till we really let the missiles fly. The worlds only mega power can and will be pushed too far. When that day comes, and the world sees our full modern arsenal, This is when people will see and understand. In my opinion, we are invincible ultimately. Sorry bout that. woooo. I just got the military channel.

germy, You are so wrong, We live in a time in this country when alot of if not most Americans don't want to serve or defend our freedom, I not talking about putting ribbons on your car that are made in china. I talking about Joining the military, our military is having a stortage of new troops. most will sit back and let the next person do it.
