24: season 2, hour 12 (2-11-03)

Good episode, less than 5 minutes of Kim.

I thought the live feed and threatened execution of Ali's family was brutal. I almost wish that killing the son wasn't faked, it would be more in line with the borderline ethics that make the show good.

I still can't figure out the Stanton angle. If he/NSA/Sherry Palmer are involved, what's to be gained? Would they willingly sanction the killing of millions just to get Palmer out of office? That's fishy to me; I'm not sure anyone is that evil. Also, we've had no exposure to who the VP is.

I also can't figure out how the bomb got to the airport. I thought the guy in the truck had second thoughts or something.

Why would Marie have her wedding on this particular day if she was so involved. I can't figure out how that would have been helpful if she was so involved.

I finally watched the tape last night.

The last remaining guy in the truck with the bomb wasn't the one with second thoughts. That guy was killed earlier.

Wouldn't it be cool if they torture Stanton to within an inch of his life just to find out he really didn't know anything?

Did you watch the previews for next week? What's up with the radio interference? What's up with the guy in the woods that found Kim. What's he doing wandering around in the woods at night with a hunting rifle.

Where's Nina? Is she through?

The biggest question I have is what are they going to do to fill 12 more episodes?

Hunting maybe? He is probably the one that set the snares. It's amazing how Kim struggles for 30 minutes and he comes and just pulls it loose in 10 seconds flat.

I hope not, but she probably is on her way back to prison. I can't see how she is any use anymore.

I did but the writers wouldn't cooperate. I've heard that all of the episodes aren't filmed yet so even the actors don't know the outcome.

I don't even think they are all written yet either. Last season, they didn't know they would be picked up for the whole season, hence the convenient hour 12 wrap up, they could have ended the series right there and it would have seemed complete. I don't think this season they were worried about being cancelled, but I don't think the whole plot is completely figured out yet either.
