Of you who have or had Zebra
Mantis shrimp, sis you always give them enough substrate to dig a burrow or is it possible to put the zebra in a tank with only an inch of substrate and he will function and live fine.
THe zebra I am looking at is 3 inches, I have no problem putting him in a tank with 4 to 5 inches of substrate but I want to see him more than a few seconds a day. Unless someone has had experience with them being more outgoing and active.
Also some what off topic, does anybody know where to get a smithii mantis. Thanks all for your time and patience.
