It's nothing special, really, except that you don't often see tanks that have a beach in them.

These are pics from the old salt marsh, when I first set it up in a 20L. This one is going to be set up in a 30L and will be set up diferently. I think I'm going to set it up for fiddlers, a damsel, and other cool unwanted critters.

Looks nice, I use to have an old swap fresh tank. I whent out to a swamp dug up muk and some plants put em in a 15 gall tank. I ended up getin some pitcher plants an venis fly traps from ebay. They had a bad parsites in the roots ate all the plants and rotted it. I did find em but it was too late.

LOL...The kids like it a lot. It's definitely a conversation starter because you just don't see very many (any) others.

I won my first fiddlers in an educational raffle. They came with fresh water, but since they live in brackish estuaries in the wild, I converted it to a brackish marsh.

I know a local LFS in Jacksonville that's had a Mantis in a QT tank for the past couple of months, I could put you in touch with them and see if they would ship it to you.

Just a thought...

If you bid on that guy, it's from Ken at sea life FL, so it's bound to be a great mantis! I'd be bidding, but my future mantis tank is too small
