I have a mantis shrimp to give away to a good home. I found him in the new LR i purchased. he is being housed in a separate tank that is too small because it was all i had and i didn't want to kill him. please, please consider taking him - he is about 2 1/2 inches long, lots of color (i heard that with each molt their colors get brighter and he is still pretty young yet), and very friendly! the first night i noticed him in my main tank he was peering out at me through a hole in my rock. he was just as curious about me as i was him (i didn't know at the time he was a mantis shrimp). he was easy to catch and now every day we greet each other and i can almost hand feed him (still scared, though). the only reason i don't keep him is because i don't have room for a tank appropriate for him. if you don't want him, maybe you know someone who does?
