Can I have one in a 10g?

Can I get one in a 10g? Can i just get a regular hang on power filter like a penguin or something? Is that all I need along with sand, lr, and a heater?? Is there anything at all that will clean and not get killed?? I want a smasher, what kind should I get and what is a good place to get one? thx

some company makes a fission nano or nano fision, they look real small. Check that out before a HOB. I had a HOB on the back of my 10g, and it did work fine. But I Think the fision is only like $50, and if you plan on keeping the 10g up, I think thatd be a decent investment.

Don't waste your money on the fisson skimmer. It sucks at best!!!!!! You'll be fine with a good HOB filter and just a mantis. Regular water changes will get you by good enough! In a 10g I'd recommed a N. Wennera or a G. Smithii.

As long as they can't get to each other I think it would be fine. Different colors would be cool. I had a red and green, but didn't separate. I ended up with only a green.
