G. chiragra habitat: part 1

I finally received and started setting up the CADlights 22 gallon I purchased from OceanReeflections (I won't get into how I suspect it has a slow leak somewhere in the bottom ) -- #20 LR, #15 sugar-grain Oolitic sand and #1 of live sand from my LFS is all in place now. These shots are from the pre-substrate time period

Nuh-uh! My mantis is a girl mantis, and we know they wear the pants in the family!
(Besides, Dr. Roy Caldwell confirms that the G. chiragra can, indeed, strike as hard or harder than an O. scyllarus double its size )
