What Cement for PVC?


Hi - what cement do you guys use when constructing your plumbing for sumps, refugiums etc?

Reuglar PVC cement is ok as long as it is approved for food use or water lines that will be used in the home. It is recommended to let is cure for about 24 hours before introducing it to the system. Hope this helps.

Yup, I use the regular stuff from Home Depot. Never any problems if you let it cure.
