ID-encrusting sps?

I know the pic isn't too good.

I have a couple of these white discs that appear to have many small polyps growing out of it (< 1" diam.)

Is this a common hitch hicker on LR? Is it nuisance spieces?

Maybe I need to take my girlfriends advice and quit staring at my rocks for a while

I think it is a type of sponge, I have a couple of them myself.

That makes sense.

This one seems to be thriving in a shaded area, so probably not a coral of any kind.
