this is a pcx30 external pump. used, but like new.

Pressure rated for a maximum lift of 14.5 ft.
Extremely quiet,cool running (lowest heat transfer of
any pump)
Only uses 100 watts

is the fan loud on it? i bought a pcx40. love the pump.. super quiet and very cool running but fan on it is loud. id like another for a return but not sure if i just got a bogus one.

i thought the pcx40s were loud. i had one for a bit and didnt like the noise at all.

the pcx30s fan is essentially silent. its really a dramatic difference. there may be a slight vibration hum, but with a towel or rubber mat, the sound goes away.

dang.. why coldnt they make the pcx40 that quiet..lol oh well
