FS Almost New (turned on once) 2x55w pc light setup
I have an Almost new Wh5 ballast, 2 catalina 55w bulbs, Endcaps and lamp clips... Its basically a Retrofit kit without the Reflector... Great for adding to your existing hood... The unit was going to be for a prop tank bet decided to go with 2x110w VHOs instead and I need the $$$ for a new tank... $50.00 Endcaps are not waterproof...
Bulbs that are included are Catalina 55w 10k bulb and catalina 55w Actinic bulb both are New in Box...
I also have 2 bulbs that were going to be used in this system and were Lit once but are
10k bulb and a 50/50 bulb both have less than 1hr of use on them.. 10.00ea
Thanks again,
James

Hey James,
Are these 24" bulbs and why are the endcaps not waterproof. If this would fit my 29 gal hood I 'm in for it.

The endcaps arent waterproof because I Figured they were going to be on the water LOL... They just dont have a rubber housing around them... They would fit into a 29g hood for sure... They are actually 21" from End to End I think the next size up is 36" As for a rEflector http://www.hellolights.com/solref24in.html I personally wasnt planning on Using one... I know some just use polished Sheet metal from Homedepot... If your interested Its availible right now...

Now before I commit.....I could just install this in my canopy hood right??? Using the sheet metal sounds ok to me... are there any other things i would have to have for this to work? would I need new endcaps because my tank will be open top if I get rid of the eclipse hood like I want to. I am wanting to get rid of the eclipse hood and go with better lighting and a skimmer for filtration. Anyway if it is pretty easy I want it... 50$ right?

Hey, James
well i tried to respond to this hours ago but my computer went black... not a good thing.
so... what I said hours ago was that I don't know any places between here and newburg so you better tell me where to meet you. Is newburg straight down hwy 99?? I guess somewhere between here and there would be fine... Ihave to be back before 2:30 to pick up my lovely children lol
