Location: Kalamazoo, MI
I am temporarily leaving the hobby because I am moving and will not have the time to keep up with things with my new job. Consequently, I am selling my entire reef tank with many extras. I am not willing to split these items up, I just want to get rid of everything at once. The total package includes:
- 75 Gallon Glass Aquarium (about 4-5 years old)
- Cherry Cabinet stand with lots of storage & drawers
- 70 - 90 lbs. of live rock
- 75 lbs. of live sand
- Huge green tree leather with 2 frags about 8 in. each.
- Hammer coral with about 20 heads
- Candy coral with about 12 heads
- Many purple mushrooms and many green hairy mushrooms
- A few zoos
- Bubble coral
- Orange Button Polyps
- Various patches of green star polyps
- Yellow Tang
- 2 Bangai Cardinals
- 65 x 4 Coralife PC fixture with moonlights, 3 plugs, 2 x 12kk and 2 x blue actinics (bulbs about 3 months old)
- Normal Output dual strip fluroescent fixture with 10,000K and blue actinic. 10kK is about 3 months old.
- 2 backfilters, one is running, the other is stored.
- 2 protein skimmers, one is an old U.S. Aquariums fixture that is stored. The other is a small Seaclone 100.
- 2 powerheads, along with other powerheads that may or may not work
- Various buckets, and other tank related items, along with a saltwater master test kit
There may be other items that I have forgotten. I will update this and post some pics once I am back at home. I would prefer to sell this setup to someone who knows what they are doing, as it would benefit from RO water and some water changes. The levels in the tank are not where they should be due to lack of time on my part to keep up with regular water changes. Everything in the tank is healthy, but the phosphates are starting to rise. For this reason, I am letting this all go for $950 (o.b.o.). If you are interested, I am also willing to part with what I have estimated is a 40 gallon hex tank with stand. The tank has only been used for about 6 months and is currently housing a single starfish with live rock. The starfish is not for sale, but I will consider offers on the tank and some rock if you are also interested in the 75 gal. If you want to buy this, you must come pick it up. I will assist in the taking down of the tank, but not in the transportation. Thank you.
