This is a DIY light hood made to fit a 50/55 gal glass tank. It rests on the outer side rims of the tank and its sides hang over slightly (creates no light leaks) leaving room for hang on equipment on the back.
It is made from select pine, with mitre cut corners, and an inset oak panel for the top. Stained golden oak.
