Well, I am moving soon and am going to take a break form the reef hobby. I want to sell my complete 12gallon nanocube that has been substantially upgraded and has been up and running for about a year. It is very healthy.
The upgrades include:
76w? of compact flourescent lighting (I added 2 x 32watts, I think, I will check)
Autotopoff system
overflow in back
Single fan cooled
(There may be more I am forgetting)
The livestock is pretty impressive for such a small tank:
around 12# of live rock
2# rock rubble in sump
about 2" sandbed with micro stars, pods, etc, very lively
Reddish brown acropora (my favorite) (bought in bad shape, but it has recovered and have had it for about 4 months)
Green montipora (has grown substantially)
Red montipora (bought it in bad shape but it is recovering)
Suncoral that is not all of that healthy (I rarely feed it since it polutes the tank alot)
A "meaty" hard coral that I haven't identified

A medium sized red and green maze brain coral
rose bulb tip anenome (had it for 6+ months, very healthy)
Two
brown button polyps (just popped up!)
Several types of zoanthids (brown and green, brown and orange/red, green and blue, etc.)
A few mushrooms
Green finger leather
4 toadstool leathers
very small frag of red birdsnest
Green star polyps
firefish
Clarkii clownfish
Sebae clownfish (may be saddle clow, not sure, I bought it as sebae though)
Skunk cleaner shrimp
Peppermint shrimp
Emerald crab
several hermits and snails
I think that is everything
The tank has a lot of callupera growing in it and I constantly prune it to keep it looking nice and remove wastes. The tank is very stable and healthy and you have to do little more than feed it, scrape the glass, and do occasional water changes. All equipment to take care of the tank will be included (buckets, siphon, hydrometer, GFI outlet, timer, 2 part calcium supplement, test kists (multi kit and salifert calcium and alkalinity, glass cleaners, etc). Again, this tank is great and the only reason I am selling it is because I do not want to move it to NJ! The only things that I would do if I was keeping it was upgrade/add a pump and add some more critters (some snails have died over the months). As you can see, I have a lot of time and effort invested and this is a sacrifice at $300. This is great for a nubie who has done his studying but hasn't yet taken the plunge or anyone who wants a nice nano. I will help how I can with moving it but ultimately that is the buyers responsibility. This tank MUST be gone by the end of May so let me know if you are interested.
Thanks
Evan
