Hi Jenn-
A tank this tall would be better suited with 250W or 400W MH, rather than the triple 175W MH I recently bought. So unless someone wanted to trade straight across for my 175's, then I need a shorter tank. I could probably get away with these lights for softies and maybe some LPS near the top, but I'd rather do it right! Imagine that!! If there are no takers, I may just end up setting it up with my current lights. Maybe get new lights if the tax return (and the wife) comply!! We'll play it by ear though on that one...

Sam, no it has not sold yet.
Krux, no worries, I'll be around for a long time! It's killing me be so close to getting a tank up, yet so far... The hard part will be when I get water and rock in there and have to wait. Oh ya, and explain to my wife and all my friends why I have a fish tank full of rocks!! Most of them saw my last tank grow from that mean as heck clown trigger into my reef (that I never should have sold, but I love the dog too) BTW English Mastiffs are the best dogs. Bring that Terrier over so they can play! (read as snack for my dog)

Dave -
Just a thought... (Missus says no new tanks for me unless I get her a new house ) but if your main concern is lighting you could effectively shorten your water column by building up bottom with pvc and starboard... (?) .
Good luck with your sale and/or next project.

I still have the 80 and stand and canopy....hint hint...actually I may be interested in this 150 setup if I could sell the 80 gallon with stand and canopy, 220 watts of PC lighting, 20 gallon sump and a CPR bak pak 2r skimmer for $500. So if you know anyone interested...
