13k 175 watt halide magnetic ballast for sale or trade new bulb

I have an extra 175 watt halide with magnetic ballast and new bulb for sale 175.00 or trade for R/O unit or??? The bulb is brand new. I have 4 of them over my 100. 5 is too many so I am downsizeing. Shoot me a pm if interested.

Are you sure the Ballast is a Magnetic ballast as If it is it will fry either the ushio bulb or the ballast.. The 175w ushios are only supposed to be used on a pulse start 175w ballast...

Its only the 175w version that requires the pulse start version..

It must be then. It has fired and burned for 8 hours for the last week and a half untill I removed it today. The ballast is black with vents in it. I have never seen one till this one. I got it from my sister. All I know is that the bulb is new and the thing burns with a nice blueish shimmer to it.

Will that bulb be enough by itself for a 120 gal reef?

Ok priced it too high. 125.00 cash or trade for anything reef related that I need or don't have. I need R/O unit or sps corals.
