WTB: skilter and corals

I am new to this hobby and just set up a 29 gallon tank. I need a skimmer/filter, primarily to circulate the water. I would also like to get some corals started (I do have the lighting for it). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd think you'd find a better option than a skilter.
for a 29, I have a fluval 204 and a remora pro sitting on mine, that i use as a qt tank.

I have a skilter that I just pulled from a small 5 1/2 gallon Nano that I am willing to let go for a small fee. It might be 4 months old, if that.

I saw a skilter in the petstore (fairly inexpensive) and the shopkeeper said that it would work out fine,(although I didn't need one that large, and they could order me a smaller one), since I had plenty of live rock to do the actual filtering. What would everyone else suggest? I am new to this and can use all the help that I can get!!!!

Think about it, what does liverock filter?? It converts.. it doesn't remove it. The Skimmer removes it.

Man I hate to jump in on this thread being new here and all; BUT... IMO the Skilter is the worst invention since we started this hobby. This is my opinion. I am sure there is someone out there who has been able to get good results but I have not found them yet. I have two of the small ones and three large ones in my garage right now, that I took with trades. If you are seriously wanting one I will let them go for $25 for all of them, but you have to take all of them.
