I have a wonderful, year-and-a-half old, male Sunshine Peacock African Cichlid. He and six sisters survived the first birth that ever occurred in one of our tanks. Since then, he has made many babies himself, but only one male fry ever survived. Now that fry is growing up, and we need to scale back to one male. We are hoping to locate a loving home for the large male and a negotiable number of females.
All of our cichlids have been born in our tanks, and they are completely pure-bred. They were raised with crawdads, cory cats,
algae eaters, and various other bottom feeders.
Please email me at
laci_rogers@hotmail.com if you would like to see pictures. He is a brilliant color, but he's not very fond of the camera. We live in Tallahassee, and are willing to deliver/meet within a reasonable distance. "Big Daddy" is about 5" long, and the females are 2" to 4".
If he is not joining other cichlids in your home, we would like to sell him with three or four females for $50 obo.
