$110 shipped.
I found a link to the original manufacture's website with the specs of the skimmer:
http://www.aqua-macro.com/skimmer/s...roduct-001b.htm
It comes with a pump. It's a needle wheel pump.
Only complaint I had was that I had to clean the pump once every 3 weeks, on my 75, 90 gallon tank.

It should work on a 150. The ratings are for a 300 and 375 gallon system. But know that skimmer manufacturers often over-rate there skimmers. If he doesn't post back today, I will be happy to send him a PM for you if you want me to.

Double the rating should be good? Thanks for your help, if you could PM the OP that would be great... Have you had experience with this particular brand?

Had never heard of it until this thread. And after looking at the link again, it looks a heckuva lot like my Coralife SS skimmers. Same basic design just a different color is mainly what I see from the pics. If that is true, the large one would be pushing the limits on a 150G tank. That is based on my personal experience with the CSS 125 and CSS220 I have. This one may be a little more efficient though.
If its a CSS takeoff, there are some mods you can do to it to make it an incredible skimmer for the price.

Gate valve the drain instead of that useless valve on it.
Add an air pump to the skimmer. The venturi simply sucks. I know the air pump mod works but others have said they drilled out the venturi hole and used a bigger airline to get more air into it.
Pull the impeller out, wrap it in 2 or 3 wraps of fishing line (4-6 pound test), reinstall it.
Thats a few off the top, I have an idea on how to do a recirc mod on mine but I have to have something to replace it with first in case my experiment goes horribly wrong.

I sent the PM last night right before I made that post so he may be on vacation, working, or something else. Give him another day or two and see if he replies back to either of us.

Thanks Hikk for making the connection! Really appreciate it.
I've used this skimmer on a 75 with sps. It's worked quite well for me.
To be honest, if you have a 150 with sps or high bioload, I'd suggest going with something bullet proof, like a ASM G4. Of course, thats quite a bit more money, but it'll last you for years upon years.
Obviously, if your still interested in the skimmer
This is NOT a venturi skimmer. I typed it in wrong. IT IS a Needle pump, and IMHO, much better than a venturi design.
My email is
whirley@gmail.com if you want to contact me via email.
Thanks
