I have a mag9 pump that I was going to use as a return pump but darn it, this thing is way to strong. Good condition. make an offer or trade for anything such as live rock or a couple decent powerheads. thanks.

Before you go and sell it...is there any way you can add a ball valve after the pump? That is what I did with my Mag 9.5 and it works great...

You are welcome. I know from a Mag7 and up, the number is the 100's of gph. So, a Mag18 is 1800, a Mag36 is 3600, a Mag12 is 1200 and so on.

Yea I have a ball valve on it and its closed like 90%. IMO, its too good to use as a return pump(for my 90g,29g sump). I have a rio 1700 and Im using that atm.

I have a Mag18 as a return on my 90. I had a Mag12 and traded even for the 18. Yes, it is a bit large. The 18 is going on my 120 tank and I have a Rio something that I will use on the 90.

If I didn't live on the other side of the country, I would be way interested in it.
