I am in Martin, SC, and go to Star Aquatics in Evans every once in a while. I am just getting back into "easy" SPS. I do have Ricordias, and blue/purple mushrooms, and a big colony of Eagle Eye Zoanthids that I have not started fragging yet. I am always looking for new stuff, so let me know what you have.

You can check out my tank thread in my signature line for pictures of what I have in my tank.

Hey Rick!

I'm new to The Reef tank. I live in Louisville and I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in Jefferson County with a salt water tank. I only have a few corals. My stock: Toadstool with baby still attached, 1" toadstool frag, finger leather, pavona, a small piece of star polyps. I have had a 55gal FOWLR since 2001. I recently acquired a 135 with pc lights. Everything is doing fine in it. I make live rock and have posted in the classifieds for trades of my rocks for frags or even lights that they may not be using/needing. If you're interested let me know....anyone else for that matter. Thanks!!!!

Linda

oh yeah forgot..I have one green ricordia too

Welcome to TRT Linda!!!

Since you think you are the only one in Jefferson County, where do you shop for things, besides online, what LFS do you use?

Hey thanks for the welcome! Don't want to jack rcflyers thread, but, Star Aquatics and online. I've been to the other lfs(no names) and they really don't care if they help you or not as long as they make a sale! sold my hubby a pineapple brain and I have pc's nice huh? yes it died. kept it as high as I could and it died. Plus when I've had a problem I've talked to them about it and acted like I was bothering them....until I got to the checkout that is......

Funny, you do not have to mention the name and I know exactly where you are talking about. It makes we wonder how they were able to afford opening that new store when they continue to provide such great customer service.

suckers like me and my hubby, who didn't know Star Aquatics existed! I'm wondering how they're staying open. I guess the pond supplies keeps em going!

p.s. I'll drive the little extra to get to SA!

If you read the first page of my 75 gallon thread in my signature line you will learn about my experience with them. You can also check out my picture book thread to see if there is anything you might be interested in trading some day.

Hey Nancy! Linda from Louisville here. I've got a niece and nephew that go to college in Statesboro! I don't hunt, so I won't be going anytime soon, and actually can't be in a room with a bird(the movie "the birds" got to me when I was a kid). I just got over the fear of heights two years ago, so maybe birds will be next...who knows, but welcome!! I'm new to this site, just not to reefkeeping. Been in the hobby with salt water since 2001 and fresh water pretty much as long as I can remember.

btw Aquawolf, is there a thread or forum where you just say hey and not jack someone else's thread like I did(by accident) and isn't this the classified section?
