I'm not sure where to start with this but here goes nothing.
I have been in the works for the past month creating an online storefront and business relationships with distributors to setup a new online retail (drygoods) store.
I have had a team of developers working on the site since early February and it is ready to rock and roll.
Unfortunately I had a career-changing event and will be forced to sell the business that I have yet to open the doors. I owned a LFS for 10 years prior to this.
Basically what is for sell is the site, domain, software, images, graphics, product catalog and all vendor information/relationships. We do not have any stock at this point. To give you a jist of what we were going to be selling... Red Dragon,
Bubble King (Royal Exclusiv), Aquatronica, Precision Marine, Tunze, H&S, Neptune, IceCap, Sunlight Supply, Aquatinics, ASM, EuroReef, Pacific Garden Supply, SpectraPure, Aqua-Connect, ATI, EcoTech Marine, Fauna Marin, GroTech, Gen-X, Iwaki, Korallen-Zucht, Pacific Coast Imports, PFO, Polyp Lab, Prodibio, Reef Fanatic, Rowa, Salifert, WavySea, Ushio, ProfiLux Controllers, ELOS, CoralFrenzy, Sequence, Pan World, UV Lighting and XM just to name a few of the bigger names.
I will also provide any 'consulatitive' services for a certain period to in order to train you and familiarize you with the software that powers the website.
Pretty much everything is ready to rock and roll, just start getting the word out. In my business plan with the forms of media I was going to advertise through I was projecting sales of $10k gross monthly withing 4 months with 20-35+% profit margins. Within a year, would be looking at close to $20k gross.
I have a tad bit over $9,600 invested in the development of the site and all the other stuff. That doesn't include any of the hours I have spent pouring into the site adding products, information and all that fun jazz. I also have a list for direct emailings to get business started off well.
I'm going to be taking a hit on this I know. I'd like at least $6,000 for it. This may be negoatiable though.
