FS / FT: 2 x Tunze 6100 (Fort Myers, FL)

I'm looking to upgrade and add some more flow to my tank.

FS: 2 x Tunze Stream 6100
(new price is $319.95/each)

or

FT: 2 x Tunze Stream 6100 (+ compensation) for 2 x Tunze Stream 6200

Price: $275 /each, or $525 for both. (+ SHIPPING)

I also have a 7095 MultiController that I could sell as well - doesn't really matter to me ... if it would make selling these easier.... I would just go out & buy an AquaSurt for my Neptunes AC3 to replace the 7095.

Why do you have to post it on a month that my reefing budget is already shot I've been waiting for a deal and I knew it would come too soon

Well hopefully someone here sees it as a great deal! If I can run across a set of tunzes like this in the future, I'll grab them. otherwise I'm going to save up for a set of vortecs, only because of the battery back up feature.

Tunze is coming up with a battery backup for the "newer" models of stream/6055nano...sounds like it might work off a regular battery???

I run both of the streams, + both of my nano 6055's on batteries, however they keep running as they are set by my 7095, not like the vortec.

If you want to hear my past experiences w/ the vortec units, email me directly. I've had one. There is a reason why i switched to the tunze. But that is not for this thread.

Hop,
Wether you're interested in my units, or not ... I'd be happy to share my experience with you, or anybody else.

Take care,

Marco

Sure, send me a PM. A buddy of mine has had some issues also, although I believe the one he has had problems with was a beta test unit and the other three are OK... If Tunze would come out with a 40 hour back up, I think it would be an easy choice
