System = four growing tanks and one sump. This system is ideal for the serious reef hobbyist that wants to have plenty of specimens to trade with others or someone that is seeking to grow corals for wholesale and/or retail customers. It provides significant water volume (460 gallons) for water quality stability while at the same time minimizing the “footprint” of space required if the tanks are “stacked”.
Propagation Tanks
The tanks are constructed to 3/8” – 1” acrylic and designed for maximum light penetration. Two of the tanks have completely open tops (euro-brace design). The variety of heights provides tremendous flexibility for organizing frags and colonies to meet each coral’s optimum growing conditions.
Propagation Tank Dimensions:
2 @ 2’W x 4’L x 14”H, approx 70 gal and constructed of 3/8” acrylic w/ 6” brace across the top for stability
1 @ 2’W x 4’L x 12”H, approx 60 gal and constructed of 1” acrylic w/ open top
1 @ 2’W x 4’L x 16”H, approx 80 gal and constructed of ¾” – 1” acrylic w/ open top
Sump
The sump is three chambered and designed to remove
micro bubbles from entering the system. The sump is constructed of sturdy ½” acrylic.
Sump Dimensions:
2’W x 6’L x 2’H (180 gal)
