125 Gallon Tank and all for Sale, $1700 (Atlanta Area)
I hate to sell this but we are moving and we just won't have the room.
(email me for pictures.)(cozumelstu@yahoo.com)
We're moving and are not able to take our gorgeous 125-gallon saltwater tank with us - so our loss is your gain! The tank itself is 6' long and 18" deep - it stands about 57" tall, which includes the dark-wood cabinet, tank, and dark-wood cover. We're selling this as the complete set-up and will not split it up. There are currently 6 fish in the tank - female and male clownfishes, blue damsel, royal gramma, spotted cardinal(?), and lawnmower blenny. You'll also find a serpent starfish and a sea urchin. There are some very happy mushrooms in the tank, along with a plate coral, and leather coral that has taken over a couple of the live rocks. I think there are 300+ pounds of live rock in the tank and lots of live sand. Tank currently has 5 powerheads, dual overflows, heater, and MRC skimmer that is kept in the cabinet below. There are three metal halide lights with ballasts, and two blue actenic lights. There are plenty of assorted other items that will go with the tank. You'll need to bring lots of buckets for the live rock, and clean barrels or trash cans to carry as much water with you as possible. We bought this tank used several years ago, and it's been going strong ever since we've owned it. We hope its new owner will enjoy it as much as we have. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we'll get back to you ASAP.
Buyer will need to pick this up at our house (Atlanta area) - and bring friends because it's heavy even with the rocks and sand out of it!
A Tunze Water Level Controller # 5017 (Haven’t used)
A Tunze Calcium Dispenser # 5074 (Haven’t Used)
A Tunze AquaController Jr, Neptune Systems (Haven’t used)
The big Calcium Reactor looks similar to this, but it has no name on it so I don’t know,
(I have not used)
The sump looks like it was cut down from a wet/dry sump before we got it.
Currently, the Skimmer sits in the sump. I always wanted to move the sump either to the garage or the basement for easier access, but never did.
The Actinic bulbs are about a year old I think, I’d have to look for receipt. There are 2 spare bulbs because I purchased bulbs when actually I needed a new ballast, so got the new ballast after I discovered that was the real problem.
We have had the setup since 10/2006. Purchased from someone who was moving at that time. Still has same Metal Halide Bulbs and ballasts from then.
