Yellow Tang In a 65?

Would it be possible to keep a yellow tang in a 65 gallon?

Yellow Tang

Possible? Yes, but a 65 is a little small for that fish especially if you keep other fish with it. You will have to do more water changes, ensure your skimmer is oversized and test the water more frequently. You will also have to limit the number and/or size of other fish you put in the tank.

A CBB will be OK in a reef....a lot of reefers have them just make sure you get one that is already eating frozen....

A Yellow Tang may be ok for a year or so depending how large you get it at....but I would not plan on keeping it long term

For a yellow tang i would say yes you can add one to the 65gallon buy a small one so you can watch him grow and have him longer.
