Topic: Coral Quarantine Systems

These days there are more and more coral predators and pests coming into the hobby that can wipe out the coral in your tank. Therefore quarantining and treating corals is mandatory to ensure long term success with your reef tank. Since I just finished setting up a quarantine system, I figured we could discuss such systems, their effectiveness, and various implementations. Lighting, heating/cooling, system sizing, coral dips and treatment protocols, and other aspects of quarantine systems will be discussed......or any other topic!

Free beer and food, as always! Members and non-members are welcome to attend and join in on the discussion of this important topic.

if i may,
since this is the new world of computers, perphaps for some members that can not make it or have to travel a long distance , a web cam / conference can be set up. this way they can still show up ( sorta) learn of things , possbile to even vote on things with in the club ( if you have that) .....
this may also boost you membership if that is an option that can be worked on

This is a great idea. Anyone who could not attend could watch the meeting on their computer and post questions/comments in a predesignated thread for the meeting.

I always wanted a web-cam anyway.

Maybe we could do this for the October meeting.
