These days there are more and more coral predators and pests coming into the hobby that can wipe out the coral in your tank. Therefore quarantining and treating corals is mandatory to ensure long term success with your reef tank. Since I just finished setting up a quarantine system, I figured we could discuss such systems, their effectiveness, and various implementations. Lighting, heating/cooling, system sizing, coral dips and treatment protocols, and other aspects of quarantine systems will be discussed.

Free beer and food, as always! Members and non-members are welcome to attend and join in on the discussion of this important topic.

I really screwed up the meeting date.


It is tentatively scheduled for August 19 at 11:00 AM, pending everyone's scheduls and ability to attend.....sorry Rob!

The meeting tomorrow is cancelled due to lack of interest (I really can't make it tomorrow either!)
